Violet Tulip & Rushnyk Pysanka — a real Ukrainian goose egg, hand-painted in the traditional wax-batik technique, set on a rare bright violet background. A white zigzag crown frames red tulip-like flowers with green leaves at the top, while a narrow rushnyk-style band with a fine white crosshatch texture runs down the center of the egg. The rest of the shell is covered in a dense yellow-and-red diamond lattice, dotted with small golden star rosettes.

The bright violet background is a rare and eye-catching choice in pysanka art, and the rushnyk band recalls the embroidered ceremonial towels used in Ukrainian homes to bring blessing.
