Teal Rushnyk & Star Diamonds Pysanka — a real Ukrainian goose egg, hand-painted in the traditional wax-batik technique, set on a rare bright teal background. Two white wave-shaped borders meet at the crown, framing small red-and-yellow square rosettes. A rushnyk-style band with small white beaded dots runs down the side, and the rest of the shell is covered in a dense red-and-yellow diamond lattice, centered with an eight-pointed star rosette and green accents.

The bright teal background is a rare and refreshing choice in pysanka art, and the rushnyk band recalls the embroidered ceremonial towels used in Ukrainian homes to bring blessing.
