Poppy Garland Pysanka — a real Ukrainian goose egg, hand-painted in the traditional wax-batik technique. A wide band of red poppy blossoms and green leaves wraps around the center of the egg like a garland, framed above and below by golden sunburst-triangle bands, with a wave-pattern border at the crown.

The triangle band is a traditional pysanka motif often associated with order and the turning of the seasons, while the poppy is a long-standing folk symbol of remembrance and family memory — together making this a strikingly symmetrical, meaningful design.
