Four Sunflowers Pysanka — a real Ukrainian goose egg, hand-painted in the traditional wax-batik technique. Four large golden sunflowers, each with a white, red-textured center and bright orange-streaked petals, fill the shell against a dark wine-red background, with green leaves between them. A vertical decorative column runs down the center of the egg, made up of a red band with golden dots, a white band with a fine zigzag-ladder pattern, and a narrow yellow-and-black lattice strip.

Sunflowers bring a joyful presence and echo the ancient solar symbolism found throughout pysanka art, balanced here by the structured geometric column running down the center.
