Cherry Blossom & Rushnyk Pysanka — a real Ukrainian goose egg, hand-painted in the traditional wax-batik technique. A narrow black-and-gold rushnyk band runs down from the top alongside a striped red-and-yellow border, framed by a bold white zigzag crown arcing around the upper half of the egg. Below, a dense yellow-and-black diamond lattice carries pink cherry-blossom flowers with white-tipped petals, scattered among plain red diamonds and green leaves.
The rushnyk band recalls the embroidered ceremonial towels used in Ukrainian homes to bring blessing, while the cherry blossoms add a soft, springtime note symbolizing renewal and family life.
As each egg is painted entirely by hand, the exact placement of every line may vary slightly from the photos — this is part of what makes every pysanka one of a kind.
