Red Gold Radial Lattice Pysanka — a real Ukrainian goose egg, hand-painted in the traditional wax-batik technique. The crown is divided into radiating triangular panels filled with fine gold lattice and small star-rosettes, opening into a dense, symmetrical diamond-and-spiral pattern in red, gold, and white that wraps the rest of the egg.

This design is an exercise in fine, dense geometric work — the kind of all-over patterning that takes real skill and patience to paint by hand, line by line, before each layer of dye.
