Poppy & Zigzag Crown Pysanka — a real Ukrainian goose egg, hand-painted in the traditional wax-batik technique. A radiating yellow lattice panel with red side-bands runs from the crown of the egg down into a sharp white zigzag border, opening into two large diamond panels filled with red poppy blossoms and green leaves on a dark ground.

The zigzag border is a long-standing pysanka motif often tied to the idea of water and the flow of life, paired here with the poppy, a traditional folk symbol of remembrance and family memory.
