This authentic Saddle Rondo smoking pipe is hand-turned and hand-polished from solid sweet cherry root. The bent apple-style bowl, with its graceful curved heel, is finished to a deep cognac-brown shine that brings out the natural grain of the wood. A pale, undyed wood spacer ring with hand-carved vertical fluting sits between the bowl and the smooth black ebonite saddle-bit mouthpiece, giving the model its name. The ebonite stem detaches fully from the shank, making the pipe simple to clean and convenient to pack for travel.
