| My Really Rather Splendid New Pipe. | |
| I have just today received my Ukrainian Hand Carved Tobacco Smoking Pipe. It arrived in perfect condition, right on time, and I'm smoking my favourite tobacco in it right now. I'm old enough to remember the days when pipes with pre-charred bowls were relatively uncommon, and miss the 'breaking in' period with a new pipe that you really don't have very often these days. But this lovely, handmade pipe is made the old way, and I shall enjoy how it's character develops. The wooden mouthpiece is unusual at first, as I'm used to Vulcanite stems, but not at all unpleasant, and adds to the unique flavour of the smoking experience. Surprisingly, especially for a new pipe, there is no tongue bite, or excessive moisture at all, which I take to be the result of a combination of fine workmanship, and one of the advantages of all wooden construction. I shall most certainly be purchasing some more of these excellent, distinctive pipes in the near future. | |

| The eggs are beautiful and I had no idea that they were coming from Lviv. My Baba grew up in a village outside of there and I believe that much of the family from my Dido's side still live in and around the area. I am giving some of the eggs as a gift for my brother and will be saving the mailing label to show him! | I got married on July 19, 2009. I live in New York where the wedding took place. I am Puerto Rican but my husband is Ukranian-American. I wanted to incorporate his culture into the wedding.
